Emanuel Medical Center Hosts NICU Reunion for Local Families

The 1st annual NICU Reunion at Emanuel Medical Center was a success.

Our team welcomed back nearly 30 families on September 14, 2023, who had newborns graduate from our Level II NICU. The families had the opportunity to reunite with their medical team and enjoy a fun day filled with food, face painting, music and more.

“Hosting a NICU reunion is an opportunity for families to come back and celebrate the tremendous achievements they have made in their journey and their beautiful children. This event is really valuable for our Emanuel team also because it allows them to celebrate the miracle of these children that was facilitated by their passion, hard work and commitment,” said Murali N. Naidu, MD, CEO of Emanuel Medical Center.

Emanuel Medical Center is home to a Level II Neonatal Intensive Care Unit (NICU) for babies born prematurely or with complications.
