New Volunteer Training starts for Hospice of Emanuel

Turlock—Volunteers are an intricate part of Hospice care. The staff of Hospice of Emanuel is currently seeking individuals to become part of our Hospice team. Individuals are needed to assist our terminally ill patients and their families by providing emotional support, respite care and grief support. Volunteers are also needed to assist with vital clerical duties in the office.
Hospice of Emanuel has scheduled a Volunteer Training Session on Saturday, March 14th from 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. and Saturday, March 28th from 8:00 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. in Conference Rooms D&E in the East Wing of Emanuel Medical Center. All new Volunteers must attend both sessions to complete the training. There is a $25 fee and preregistration is required. Scholarships are available upon request. Continuing Education Credit is available for health professional students.
Hospice volunteers of all ethnic backgrounds are needed to become part of our Hospice team.

Hospice of Emanuel is a team of professionals and volunteers who address the social, spiritual and emotional needs of the terminally ill patients and their families.
