New Volunteer Training Starts for Hospice of Emanuel

Turlock, Volunteers are an intricate part of Hospice care. The staff of Hospice of Emanuel is currently seeking individuals to become part of our Hospice team. Individuals are needed to assist our terminally ill patients and their families by providing emotional support, respite care, translating, facilitating grief support groups, bereavement follow-up and working in the Hospice office as office assistants. Hospice volunteers of all ethnic backgrounds are needed.

Hospice of Emanuel has scheduled a Volunteer Training Session on Saturday, October 3rd and Saturday, October 17th from 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. All new Volunteers must attend both sessions to complete the training. There is a $25 fee and preregistration is required. Continuing Education Credit is available for people in the medical field.
