Volunteering
Volunteers support Emanuel Medical Center by giving of their time and talents. Their gifts help make this hospital the compassionate heart of healing in our community. There are two primary ways to volunteer.
Legacy Circle Volunteers Legacy Circle volunteers are the cornerstone of Emanuel's Annual Giving campaigns. Organized into teams, these volunteers have helped create the Emanuel Cancer Endowment, build our state-of-the-art Critical Care Center and give birth to the Mary Stuart Rogers Birthing Center. Volunteer Auxiliary Emanuel Auxiliary volunteers work in the hospital itself, and collectively contribute more than 71,000 hours of service to Emanuel and our patients every year. Auxiliary volunteers range in age from 14 to 92, and perform a variety of valuable functions from organizing charts to greeting cancer patients arriving for treatment.
